With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?

We were in the middle of setting up an European Tour starting in the UK playing the 02 at the Indigo, London. The 02 was the anchor date and other dates were planned around London, Paris, Amsterdam and Belgium. The tour was part of a larger tour which included Melba Moore, Robin S, Evelyn Champagne King, and D-Train Williams appropriately titled "The Legends Tour".

How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?

Fortunately, we were able to reschedule the 02 date for March 18, 2022 because the AXS has a substantial amount of tickets sold already, we just have to add more dates in London, Paris etc. We were able to successfully release 2 singles during the Pandemic "Tiempo" FT Melba Moore and "Gotta Find A Way". The plan is to incorporate these singles in an album/EP before the end of this year.

What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?

Many of the band members have been occupying their time with online activities including several virtual events, Keep6ix Dennis Nieves & Michael Dunston, Artists United Global Festival, Rupert Harvey released a single "Old Friends" and more. An internet radio station was also started to help promote the group and the upcoming concert series Legends2.20 Radio. All of the above has helped to maintain our collective sanity. Carl Harvey our lead guitarist is also a member of Toots & The Maytals and unfortunately Toots succumbed to the effects of Covid-19 in September 2020, and passed away. So the pandemic has definitely taken its toll on a lot of the members in this group, we hope to come away from this stronger and better.

How are dealing with the Covid third wave?

The third wave certainly has taken us by surprise and again we had to reschedule dates, festival activities, that we thought would happen this year, have also been postponed. We plan to continue online events and complete that overdue album this year.

Favourite Starlite Room Moment?

Eric Alper, just recently made us aware of the Starlite Room and we certainly hope to have many memorable moments in the future.
