With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
Edmonton. Stuck at home.
How has that affected your plans for the coming months? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
Really affected a lot. We had a lot of shows booked in the summer and a tour with the amazing Titilope in the works. As well as one of our biggest Melafrique shows had to be cancelled.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home?
Trying to learn new software to help us as a band, improve our live shows as well as recording some new content for our fans.
What was the first thing you did/place you went to now the country is starting to slowly re-open?
Riwo and Leshan went to Banff. Enoch went Kayaking. Leshan also decided to do some skydiving.
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
The Afro-Latinx show this past Winter. What a great show with amazing energy from the audience.
