With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
I was in the Studio with my producer Stephen Kambeitz working on my debut album.
How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
We couldn’t play any shows to promote the new album. We would have been quite busy supporting the album through live shows. But Covid had other plans.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?
I get to spend a lot more time with my children. Which is something I would not have gotten otherwise. That’s the silver lining for me. Also I wrote my sophomore album and we are now in the studio working on it with a release date in the fall of 2021.
How are dealing with the Covid second wave?
When Covid first hit I was just waiting to see the news article that it went away and we can go back to whatever we were doing before. That never happened. This time I’m not waiting for anything. I’m living my life as best as I can considering the state of the world. I try to smile more than I frown. The world right now isn’t the easiest place to exist, but it’s the only place we got so we may as well make the best of it.

Be kind to one another, that’s what the world needs now.
