Forget 3 little birds...
this is the only bird you gonna need today.
Bourbon, ginger, tart lemon, smoky scotch, gimme gimme.

CA-CAW!

Stolen from a bougie Calgary restaurant YELLOW DOOR BISTRO on one of Samara's many solo road trips, this one has been a special occasion staple in the house for a few years now.

INGREDIENTS

Falcon Tears
1oz Bourbon (We used good ol' Jim Beam)
3/4oz Drambuie
1/2oz Domain de Canton
1/2oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
5 drops Laphroaig Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 10yr

DIRECTIONS

Pour bourbon, Drambuie, Domain de Canton, and lemon juice over ice in a mixing glass.
Stir with spoon until chilled.
Probably 40 stirs exactly, but you do you.
Then in a highball glass with a single large ice cube, drip 5 drops of Laphroaig onto the ice.
Strain the booze from the mixing glass over the ice.
Now sip, savour, repeat.

***BONUS SHOT***

China White 3/4oz
Creme de Cacao 1/4oz Irish Creme (We used the super duper tasty Hansen's Morning Glory)
Sprinkle ground cinnamon.
Pour Creme de Cacao into shot glass.
Carefully use a spoon or a convenient thumb and slowly layer the Irish cream on top.
Dust with cinnamon.
Learn to make these at home and stop bugging your bartenders ;)
