Specifically the CHERRY BOUNCE!

Well, we opened the champagne and champagne without bubbles is garbage white wine, so we must sally forth with more bubbly lifted cocktails!

CHERRY BOUNCE

INGREDIENTS

2oz bourbon (Jim Beam Vanilla)
1oz fresh lemon juice
1oz juice from brandied cherries
(we split the difference...half amaretto cherry juice, and half brandy)
1/2oz simple syrup
2 dashes aromatic bitters
1oz sparkling wine

DIRECTIONS

Pour the bourbon, lemon juice, cherry juice, simple syrup, and bitters into a mixing glass, add ice, shake briefly, then strain into a cocktail glass while simultaneously pouring in the wine as a lift.
(because you only have two hands, don't feel bad if you can't do this simultaneously. That's pro level stuff right there. You can add the champagne very shortly afterwards and get away with it.)

The vanilla bourbon really worked with everything here...sweet, but not too sweet and deliciously boozy and tart. Thanks again T&A for the curbside booze drop-off!
