Visited by a number of delivery fairies today we found ourselves flush with puzzles, toilet paper, blackberries, and oh me oh my a bottle of Plum & Blackthorn Flavoured Gin courtesy @collective_stu, what a guy! Stu says this stuff makes a fantastic French 75, and lo and behold there's a great recipe just waiting for us on their Instagram @collectivedistilling
DANCING QUEEN
INGREDIENTS
2oz Plum & Blackthorn Gin
1oz simple syrup
3/4oz freshly squeezed lime juice
2 blackberries
Topped with Prosecco
1 sprig rosemary, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Combine simple syrup and blackberries in shaker and muddle.
Add remaining ingredients except for Prosecco in the shaker, and shake over ice.
Double strain into a rocks glass over ice and top with Prosecco.
Garnish with freshly slapped rosemary.
Absolute beauty of a cocktail, a great way to start the weekend, and a great introduction into this independent Canadian distiller. They already make tasty beer, and all signs point towards tasty spirits too. Thanks Stu!
