HOMETOWN HUSTLE this podcast/conversation series continues on the road, in Edmonton again, with musician, guitarist, session whiz and saver of lives, Ian Rossiter.
EPISODE 24 Ian and I met in the mid 2000s, sometime after I’d heard him playing the changes like A BOSS at GP Music (now Long & McQuade). Ian is an EMT as well as an absolute beast of a musician, playing with many bands as well as lighting it up in the studio as a session player on most stringed instruments. Ian has played on a few records that I have produced and mixed, including some for Montreal’s Ryan Stotland and Boston’s Jesse McKellar.
We hadn’t hung out in AGES, so consider this just the beginning of our conversation. We touch upon some of GP great artists, discuss Ian’s journey, his influences, Newfoundland, family and Fatherhood.
