EPISODE 23 Tyson and I met in the early-mid 2000s, through mutual friends and through traveling from the Grande Prairie area to Edmonton and/or Calgary to attend concerts. For context, Edmonton is 5 hours south of Grande Prairie, and Calgary is 9 hours south!
Tyson’s journey took him from Fairview and Grande Prairie to Edmonton and Germany, and back to settle in Edmonton where he has become an integral part of the arts and music scene, managing The Starlite Room & River City Revival House, as well as booking some of the biggest names in rock and metal through Alberta with Concertworks Booking. We discuss art, music and the ambition and hard work that makes it all happen.
