CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Chocolate-Chip Drop Cookies

Makes about 45 - 2 inch cookies. 
Preheat oven to 375

 CREAM

  • ½ cup butter (80 ml)

Add gradually and beat until creamy:

  • ½ cup brown sugar (120 ml)

  • ½ cup white sugar (120 ml)

BEAT IN

  • 1 egg

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla (2.5 ml)

STIFT & STIR IN

  • 1 cup and 2 tablespoons sifted all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon soda

Stir in:

  • ½ cup (120 ml) chopped nut meats (walnuts, pecans) optional

  • ½ to 1 cup (120-240ml) milk chocolate chips

BAKE

Drop the batter from a teaspoon, well apart, on a greased cookie sheet. 
Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
