With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?

When everything came to a halt we were together as a band filming videos for our singles 'How You've Grown' & 'What's Done'. We had set the whole weekend aside for filming and ended up getting all the footage in the first day, our second day was spent hanging out and relaxing with each other. It was nice to have one last weekend free of worry before the world turned upside down.

How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?

We had a lot of stuff in the works for the next few years. We had planned out quite a few weekend show runs with different band friends across to try and concur Ontario and play in all kinds of cities we hadn't. After that the plan was to jump on a few runs in the states with some more friends and then work towards a little DIY tour in Japan. Hopefully by that time we would have caught enough attention to make a cross country tour a reality!

What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?

Luckily with 3 of us being brothers and still living together practices can generally carry on was usual. Whenever restrictions allow Shawn will come over for a full band practice and some hang out time. But overall we have been trying to focus on our social media presence, releasing the singles that we recorded before the lockdown, and writing/preparing ourselves to work on our first full length record. Mental Health is a very important thing and it can commonly be the last thing that people think about when they are trying to take care of themselves or someone else. What we have found has worked for us is just making sure that our time together is not always about work. Before we really started playing a lot of shows/working full time jobs we would practice and hangout every night of the week. Then we started playing shows Thursday to Sunday and got in the bad habit of just running our set quick before our first set of the weekend. We were able to channel that same joy into the gigs but then we would just go crash and start our work week. It is very important to take the time to enjoy yourself and surround yourself with the people you love.

How are dealing with the Covid third wave?

Each one of us has found a different way to cope with things I think. Not all of them healthy but we are getting through it. Working 40 plus hours a week through out all this has helped hold onto some sense of normality I guess but its even more emotionally draining when we can't run a weekend of shows at the end of the week. But we are keeping our heads up and working out some new tunes that we are pretty stoked to show everyone once we can get out there again!

Favourite Starlite Room Moment?

We really enjoyed the Power Trip video that was released after Riley's passing. It was a wonderful way to tribute such an incredible human and honestly the set was rad as hell!!

Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?

HEY YOU! YES YOU!!!! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!
Honestly it may sound cheesy but you gotta do it. Things are going to get tough, you're going to have rough moments. Just keep fighting. You'll be on the other side soon and you'll be stronger than you were before. If you need a shoulder to cry on, someone to vent to, or just want to make a new friend; the door is always open at Moore Ave! You can reach out to us 24/7; 365. We'll be here.
