With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
We were all in New Zealand, which ended up being one of the best places to be.
How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
It actually worked really well for us, as NZ was open we did a full nationwide tour and played some pretty amazing festival slots. Covid has accelerated a bunch of other stuff too, like NFts in Crypto which ended up being the spark for our latest release and music video.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?
We had some weeks of this, which I spent in meditation, working out, learning new dishes, playing piano, songwriting, reading books, writing, going for walks, hosting zoom parties and watching some sweet tv series. Since we came out of lockdown I've been working mostly on the band. I think the boys were doing similar things in lockdown - James co-wrote a poetry book and I think Joss produced a track.
How are dealing with the Covid third wave?
Again - in NZ we are super lucky to not have Covid, so currently just finishing off projects and having a somewhat normal life.
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
Haven't had the pleasure of visiting so far!

If you don't know what Metta is, google it. It's enormously powerful and important. Jack Kornfield is a good place to start.
