With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
Edmonton - had a couple of local gigs cancelled as a result.
How has that affected your plans for the coming months? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
I am starting the Bachelor of Music degree program at MacEwan this fall. I was planning to book some shows/festival slots across Alberta to help save for school in the fall. I was also planning to record this year but have put those plans on hold for now.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home?
Drawing, trying out new styles of music, writing, and snuggling my dog.
What was the first thing you did/place you went to now the country is starting to slowly re-open?
I got my first tattoo (which was postponed - supposed to be on my 18th birthday). I've still be sticking to curb-side pick-up for food (Remedy, Padmanadi, etc.) and records (Listen).
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
I had tickets to see Dune Rats on my 18th birthday in May...was so sad it was cancelled...but my favourite Starlite moment was probably Broadway Calls during Winterruption!
