With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
We were at home in Edmonton getting ready to release our latest single, “Highway 2 (Calgary 0)” and everything changed what felt like overnight. We had to go on quite an extended hiatus at that point.
How has that affected your plans for the coming months? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
It delayed the release of our new music and our ability to rehearse, definitely.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home?
I’ve personally been writing more than ever before. This was obviously a trying and uncertain time for myself and others, but I do feel like I’ve been able to stay creative and try to make the most of it.
What was the first thing you did/place you went to now the country is starting to slowly re-open?
My wife and I just went out to wine country in BC and had an amazing time!
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
Playing with Living With Lions and Calling All Captains. It was an unreal show!
Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?
I just hope everyone is staying as happy, safe, and healthy as possible.
