With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
Orion was at home. He got laid off over the phone and waited 3 months to go back to work. Terence was able to work through it all as his job is a solitary o e with limited human interaction. Jon was given the opportunity to stay on with his current employer but shifting gears into a new role.
How has that affected your plans for the coming months? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
No tour planned but we had hoped to continue writing for our second album in the future. We all keep our distance in the beginning, so we didn’t even jam for a while but now we’ll start getting back into it.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home?
Orion fixed up his truck and rebuilt his engine, playing with the kids, yard and home repairs filled in the rest.
What was the first thing you did/place you went to now the country is starting to slowly re-open?
Orion fixed up his truck and rebuilt his engine, playing with the kids, yard and home repairs filled in the rest.
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
Smoking a joint up in the rafters during Gza, Mastodon, and Jinjer. First time I went there I was 18 and SNFU was playing, the stage was opposite of where it is now.
Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?
Wear a mask. Plus, if you haven’t heard from a friend in a while give em a call. Maybe they want to talk but just won’t make the first move. Not everyone is ok all of the time. Also, Epstein didn’t kill himself.
