With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
I’ve been a studio and touring guitar player professionally for the last 12 years, so it’s hit me hard. I was playing a gig March 15th and they cut the night early. Sent us home and it was all “downhill” from there.
How has that affected your plans for the coming months? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
It has certainly put touring on hold... for a while I assume. But I feel artists should use this time to be creative. Dig deep and learn more about their craft. I released an album (Useless) April 14th digitally. The internet is busier than ever. Great time to release music.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home?
Constantly recording. Trying to break boundaries musically. Beats staring out the window!
Favourite quarantine meal?
Strong affection for Oreos.
