With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?

Luckily we are based out of Saint John NB which has been deemed one of the safer regions world-wide so we haven't been hit as dramatically as other places but it has caused us to slow down and reflect upon what is happening around us. We had big plans for 2020 but we had to shift gears and refocus due to the current situation. We've cancelled practices, live shows and video shoots that we were beyond excited for. We are optimistic for this year and plan to dive right back into the thick of things with our album release the second we are able to.

How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?

Before the pandemic began we created a detailed outline for 2020. This included playing live at local shows, filming music videos and releasing our debut album (which was originally slated for August). Once restrictions began escalating we decided to sit down and come up with a new approach to marketing/ interacting with fans that was more social media driven. Slowly but surely we have been increasing our social media presence and now we feel like it’s the perfect time to release our album "Overcome" TODAY, January 15 2021.

What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?

We know that everyone can agree that this year has been awful for a lot of people, however we believe that there is always a silver lining (even when times are grim). Time away from work has made it easier for us to balance working on new music, rehearsals, time with our families and it gave us the opportunity to revisit some of our previously recorded material and add some different elements to strengthen our sound.

How are dealing with the Covid second wave?

Thankfully being located in Atlantic Canada we are still able to see a few people in our day-to-day lives. This means that we can still get together to rehearse and work on new material. Just having the ability to make music with your friends has had a huge impact on our mental health this year.

Favourite Starlite Room Moment?

The Artist of the Day series is definitely the highlight of the Starlite Room to us. We think it's incredible that you take the time and help local talents get their name to so many people that they would have never have reached. Without people like you in this industry bands would find it nearly impossible to get into the public eye. We really thank you for this.

Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?

We know 2020 was awful, there's no denying that, but it helped us put what is important to the forefront: family, friends and being there to help them through this situation in any way we can and to focus on what makes us happy. Going into the new year we would love your readers to give us a listen it would mean the world to us. Also everyone stay safe, stay healthy and stay happy. We can get through this.
