Enjoying a drag show with all our favourite Queen’s and King’s, isn’t as easy as it was a couple months ago, we wanted to give you something to keep your queer flag flying. The group we adore the most is Soo She and the Banshee’s. Each night we see something new, something ridiculous, something FABULOUS that leaves us all gagging for more. If you don’t know about our amazing drag community in Edmonton, let us introduce you to Soo She & The Banshee’s.
Starlite Sessions presents: Soo Shee & the Banshee’s
Soo She is a messy punk harajuku Barbie doll that pushes boundaries and ideas of what drag is in mainstream pop culture. Out of drag Soo She is a gender non-conforming individual that blurs the lines of gender and in drag they embrace hyper over the top feminity with a punk flair. Soo She and Dwight have made it their mission, with the help of the River City Revival team, to create an inclusive safe space for the queer community and our allies where everyone can feel welcome and comfortable to express themselves in the way that makes them feel like their most authentic selves.

Meet Dwight Trash.
The Queen with the sparkle beard. If you have the pleasure of seeing Dwight perform she will show off her mad vocal skills with both song and drag performance. She will serenade you into a deep love spell that makes you trapped in the mesmerizing performance. Beware, this will have a power to make you pull out all the cash from your wallet and give it to Dwight as she stomps her heels around you. Suddenly, you are head over ‘heels’ in love and covered in sparkles. You will not want to miss Dwight Trash’s performance.
The one and only Soo She
Wherever you see Dwight, you will find Soo She. The duo helps Revival create an all inclusive safe space for the queer community and brings death dropping shows to our stage. When Soo She walks on that stage you want to embrace your femininity with her! Throw away those men, throw away your business wardrobe, and invest in platform boots. Soo She takes traditional drag and allow a platform for anyone in the LGBTQ community to express themselves. Of course, there will be lip sync throwbacks to your grungy angsty punk days that will make you sing along as she gives you a temporary tattoo. Be ready to get grungy will you watch a messy punk harajuku Barbie doll shake her stuff.
The Banshee’s
Along with Soo She and Dwight Trash, you will be introduced to Queen’s & King’s from all over Edmonton. We have had the pleasure of watching Sadie Sedusa , John-Benet Ramsme, Tickle Minora, Claudia Eyesout, and many others through the course of the shows.
