Metro Cinema is a community-based not-for-profit society devoted to creating and fostering opportunities for the exhibition of diverse, unique shared viewing experiences in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
We LOVE Metro Cinema! So much so, we got married there in the Summer of 2012!
Each Spring Metro Cinema hosts an awards show, viewing party and fundraiser event. Obviously that is not able to happen in person, so they have moved their silent auction online! Metro Cinema relies on fundraising to support their work on an ongoing basis. Having spent much of the last year unable to open their doors to the public, they are even more grateful to the generosity of of local community.
