This lovely Australian is the reason we got to experience Eau-De-Vie in the before times, and this is her favourite drink on their menu...and for good reason. All the sweet ginger vodka goodness with a healthy dose of tart Yuzu.

But.
The only ginger beer for me is the Royal Jamaican Ginger Beer and that's gone the way of the Dodo in these times. Also, Yuzu curd is hard to come by in Canada, apparently.

So we improvise, flip it and reverse it.

YUZU MULE
(the It's Five O'Clock Here! version)

INGREDIENTS

50ml 1941 Vodka
20ml Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
30ml Fresh Orange Juice
10ml Honey Syrup 2 bar-spoons Ginger Curd (we found some at Italian Centre)
Top with Yuzu Soda (also Italian Centre)
Copper Cup Spent Lime Shell for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients minus the Yuzu soda in a cocktail shaker.
Shake well until chilled.
Strain into a copper cup filled with cubed ice.
Top with Yuzu soda.
Garnish with a spent lime shell.
