With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
I had just released my album, “And the Moon Rising,” when the pandemic brought everything to a halt.
How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
The record had taken a little more than a year to make, and my plan was to nurture some gigging with the resulting CD; this remains my hope, once we have emerged from pandemic times. In the meantime, I have shifted my focus to nurturing radio play.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?
I have started preparing material for another album, and I look forward to renewing musical activity with the great players on “And the Moon Rising.”
As things are reopening & restrictions are lifting have you booked any new gigs? Tours? Etc? If your region is still under restriction, how are dealing with the Covid third wave?
My beloved is a freelance editor, and we have been attentive and careful throughout COVID-19, but I have neither sought, nor booked, any new gigs as of this writing (Summer, 2021.)
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
I was pretty thrilled to learn I had been selected for Starlite Session's artist of the day, so that is my favourite moment—so far!

My album is “on all the usual channels,” as they say. If you give it a listen, I hope you enjoy it!
