With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
Interestingly enough, when the pandemic started was when I really started focusing on my music career as a singer, songwriter and recording artist. Slowing down the busy, fast pace day to day life allowed me to work on developing my career as an independent artist by writing and recording original music in the studio.
How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
It's definitely interfered with my ability to schedule gigs and do live performances for sure! But I also discovered that social media is a very powerful networking tool. You can reach people across the globe instantly and connect with fans and like minded artists.
On a plus side, I've been able to do alot of writing, recording and investing time in developing as a recording artist.
I dropped my collaboration album Duality on February 12th which is now available across streaming platforms! The album is comprised of 10 tracks with the very talented Michael J Foxx who is an amazing recording artist and engineer. Collaborating with him has been great and his work ethic is crazy! And I have no intentions on stopping there... I have plans to release more singles, and a solo album in May 2021.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?
Being creative through the art of music and visuals has allowed me to express myself and is like therapy to me. Taking care of your mental and physical health is so important and hard to do during these challenging times. And music is such a great space to release all of my energy whether positive or negative, happy, sad, lonely, frustrated... Whatever mood I'm in a write a song.
How are dealing with the Covid second wave?
I've been keeping busy in the studio writing and recording. And when I'm not making music, I've been working on music videos to make the vision come to life! Michael J Foxx and I shoot music videos for alot of our work, which can be found on our YouTube Pages, so make sure to check us out! :

Once this second wave is over and things get back to normal, I look forward to traveling, meeting people, collaborating with other artists and setting up live performances!
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
Just seeing an array of different talent and genres come together on one platform is amazing! There's so many talented artists, and having the space to share their music, stories, visions... And also having the opportunity to do the same inspires me to keep pursuing my dreams as a singer.
Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?
I strongly encourage others to tap into their creative side now that we have the time for reflection. Believe in yourself! I come from a small town where alot of people aren't following their passions because they don't think that it's possible. I've learned that anything is possible when you invest time in working on yourself, your craft, whatever drives you and motivates you. I hope to inspire others to do the same in following their passions and dreams.
