With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
I was listening to songbirds and sea lions sing on the Sunshine Coast of BC. It turned out to be the perfect place to hunker down during these trying times.
How has that affected your plans for the coming months? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
I had a tour planned and partially booked. I had intended to make it my first trip past Quebec and onto our Eastern Coast where many folks were requesting, I come play. The tour will be rescheduled as soon as it is safe to do so.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home?
For now, I am happy at home, taking the time to upgrade my recording studio. Instead of touring, I've been putting on Livestream concerts and offering one on one video lessons with anyone who wants them. Just trying to connect with humans in any way possible.
Favourite quarantine meal?
Too many to list, but I would never turn down a homemade pizza marathon.
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
Since I'm from the West Coast, I haven't ever been able to make it to a Starlite room show. If I could have been there for any show, I would have loved to see Against Me!
