With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
From September 2017 to November 2019, I had been running the Infamous band members pretty hard for two years; what with concerts, music video shoots, photo shoots, etc. 2020 was supposed to be a year of rest. Silver lining about the pandemic - it just so happened to line up with an already clear schedule.
How has that affected your plans for the coming months? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
My plans for 2020 were writing our first full length record as well as preparing to score the Rutherford Manor TV series. We had one date lined up for 2020 - the Eternal Nights Vampire Ball on October 3rd. That MIGHT still go through, but we'll probably hear one way or the other in a month or so.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home?
In March we released our third music video; "No Fear Tonight", comprised entirely of live footage from all of our headliner concerts. That was our big claim to 2020. Other than that - Writing. Sleeping.
Eating good food.
The band still keeps in touch, obviously. This time is about filling spots in the lineup, becoming better musicians, and preparing for a massive 2021 (fingers crossed)
What was the first thing you did/place you went to now the country is starting to slowly re-open?
I made a pretty badass meal earlier this month called my "East Indian Spectacular" but this month I'm going to do something special, along the same veins, entitled my "Mexican Spectacular". Make sure to roll those Rs
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
Picking one of many - it would be performing our second ever concert, alongside the mighty Order of Chaos. Such a legendary memory.
Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?
Don't lose hope, make good choices and don't be afraid to help people every now and then. Do things that make you happy - listen to the good music, watch the good movies, be kind to yourself as well as others. Stay safe, and thank you for reading!
