With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
I was in Edmonton and I was moving to a new house. If you thought it was hard to get your homies to help you move before try hitting them up during a global pandemic.
How has that affected your plans for the coming months? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
I was supposed to be touring all through out the spring and summer with another band but sadly plans changed for everyone as we all know.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home?
I've been recording tons of new tunes. I have a studio space which has been the only thing keeping me sane during these wild times.
What was the first thing you did/place you went to now the country is starting to slowly re-open?
I think it would've been having a pint at the beloved Empress Alehouse. It was a sad day to see it go, lots of great memories and friends made there.
Favourite Starlite Room Moment?
Either playing a show a few years ago with my other band The Velveteins or DJing downstairs at River City Revival with the homies in 780 Soul Crew.
Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?
We're gonna make it through this. Love is the answer.
