With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
I was actually in the middle of completing my album, but it was alright because it gave me time to write more and I ended up with two completely different EP's
How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
I had an upcoming album release, it was pushed back a little but I was able to continue writing and I'll never be upset about that haha
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?
Making sure I remain connecting with friends and family became so important! it was hard being indoors and having my normal schedule be thrown off but having watch parties on zoom became the new normal and certainly became the norm.
As things are reopening & restrictions are lifting have you booked any new gigs? Tours? Etc? If your region is still under restriction, how are dealing with the Covid third wave?
Over here in Toronto we are nearing the end of our third wave, slowly things are opening up but a lot of venues are still remaining closed. therefore we've kept on booking virtual shows! Check out Toronto Pride performance over on their website
Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?
Take care of yourself, and try to find time to unplug! Certainly keep up with the news but don't be afraid to binge watch Netflix or download a few episodes of Friends.
