With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?
We were in the middle of filming our first music video "Information YEAH!" when we learned they would start closing everything down. Feels like forever ago.
How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?
It gave us a lot of time to work on new music, we recorded it all separately on our own bit by bit. Jozzef spent almost 10 months in his home country of Serbia.
What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?
I (Evan) spent a lot of time working on these music videos during Covid. Almost obsessively. A lot of the things I enjoyed in my spare time such as video games, or watching films/TV lost their flavour during the pandemic. But I have trouble doing nothing so I find work for myself to do. Stay busy, but maybe not too busy!
How are dealing with the Covid fifth wave? Have things locked down again in your region? Have you had to cancel gigs, tours, etc.? Are things reopening & restrictions are lifting in your region? Have you booked any new gigs, tours, etc.? What are your plans for 2022?
Things are starting to reopen for the time being, I think we're going to have to get used to things coming and going and seize the opportunities when they're here. We started planning some comeback shows in April but we're also getting kicked out of our jam space along with hundreds of others in March due to gentrification which is going to make it difficult to sharpen up for the road ahead.
